Write about what you don’t know

Should I write about what I know

Or should I write about the unknown

Or perhaps the words that form

are at the boundary between the known and the unknown

where my feet are still solidly anchored

and the story of an unexplored world reveals to my eyes

There would be no use to write about

something I know too well and can access anytime I want

And it would be impossible to write about

something that is so entirely alien to me I don’t even know it exists

because how to know the unknown?

But something that is in-between

something that I don’t know, yet I know

this makes the perfect motive to write a book

to write a story and uncover a new world

a world that exists but I still can’t grasp
