White dress

White dress

The last time I saw you

you wore old leaves you needed to get rid from

they were more a remainder of the past

than an hymn to whom you truly are

All winter long you have been weaving

your new dress away from my eyes

and now for the first time you try it

covering yourself in velvety flowers of a whiteness

only equalled by all the snow you breathed in

You are readying to speak the vows

the magical words that will bring us together

and give us the wings needed

to enter the world of our dream
