A balance of iron and stone

For centuries the clock tower has leaned dangerously

and the man of iron has sustained it, preventing it from falling

the force of falling and that of pushing neutralizing one another, in balance with one another

That’s what resembles our inner balance as long as we give in to our shadows

we have the illusion to be firm and balanced

but we are as weak and precarious as the leaning tower

and only the force given to us by love can make us stand straight nonetheless

Thus love is all busy to keep us from toppling into our shadows entirely

and its expression is bridled, its potency limited

Imagine all what the man of iron could have achieved had he not to carry day and night the weight of the falling tower
