Airports

argile

I want to write

but from where to start

in this space of noise

and stale air

in the sleepiness

within which

I bathe

I thought that someday

I could stand up

and start reading my poetry

my stories

in an airplane

in a waiting room

in public spaces

like troubadours in times of yore

traveling from place to place

and making my poetry

known to the world

Now my more urgent problems

are to find a reliable energy supply

for my laptop before its battery dies

and a way to extend

my half an hour free internet connection

But why to worry about future

Once my computer falls asleep

I can very well write in my notebook

And now I should focus into bringing

a deeper meaning to this poem

There still are many gifts

still dormant within the clay

that I call myself

They are like hidden treasures

made of silver, gold and moonstone

but they still can’t be brandished in the wind

as the daggers they are

because they are stuck in layers and layers

of hardened clay

Little by little I’m digging them up

and learning to use

these Deathly Hallows of mine

Where will this journey bring me

not the airplane I mean which will safely harbor me in Geneva

but this inner trip that is much less certain and way more exciting

little can I tell about my destination

about this place called Hazen I seek an entrance to

I’m still looking for a gate willing to let me in

a key to unlock it

All what I can say with certainty

is that it’ll be more exciting than any place I’ve ever visited

and that colors will shine with a renewed light

and that extraordinary things will happen to me

things I’ll uncover and share in my stories

Stay tuned

perhaps we’ll meet someday

in an airport

or on the shores of a magical lake

overlooked by the tallest mountains

of Hazen
